The weaving process of Bomkai sarees is nothing short of magical. Made from either silk or cotton, featured distinctive borders and pallu, adorned with geometric patterns and motifs of fish, lotus, and other elements of nature. Bomkai sarees were granted Geographical Indication GI status in 2009.
